IFP welcomes the averting of the strike by immigration officials

Ms. Inka Mars, the IFP spokesperson for Home Affairs today welcomed the averting of a strike by immigration officials.

Ms. Mars said: "The IFP applauds the Department of Home Affairs, Public Service Commission and union officials for the decision to enter further negotiations, and we hope the next round of negotiations will resolve any outstanding matters regarding immigration officials".
