IFP National Chairperson, Mrs Zanele
kaMagwaza-Msibi, today commented on malicious allegations by
some media outlets that IFP President, Prince Mangosuthu
Buthelezi, had been 'rushed to hospital'.
Mrs kaMagwaza-Msibi stated that, 'The IFP
President is in good health and during the past week went for a
routine medical check-up. Contrary to these malicious media allegations, the IFP
President spent this past weekend at his residence at Mahlabathini, and today is at an IFP National Executive Committee meeting in Durban and will from there depart for parliamentary
duties in Cape Town'.
The IFP National Chairperson also called on
all media outlets to refrain from sensational unfounded
reporting which can lead to stress and duress amongst IFP
members and supporters and the South African and international
community at large.
