The IFP Women's Brigade Chairperson, Mrs Lungelwa Zwane, today expressed the condolences of the Women's Brigade on the passing yesterday in Richards Bay of Mrs Faith Gasa, MPP.

Mrs Zwane said:

"We are saddened by the passing of our colleague and friend Mrs Faith Gasa. As a woman of principle and a strong, committed leader she has inspired us all."

"Her legacy will continue in the young women she has nurtured and the continued strengthening of the Women's Brigade that she previously led. We also find comfort that she is now with her beloved husband who passed away a few months ago."

"We appreciate that she served the South African community as a woman leader with distinction", Mrs Zwane concluded.
