The IFP expresses its heart-felt
condolences to the family and friends of Mrs Faith X Gasa MPP
who passed away at the Bay Hospital in Richards Bay today.
"The IFP would like to reassure the
grieving Gasa family that we are standing by them at this
difficult moment just as Faith had always stood by the party she
loved," said Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, President of the
IFP.
"Faith's devotion to the party
principles and her academic credentials added priceless value to
her contribution at every level she ever served the IFP and the
people of KwaZulu-Natal," said Buthelezi.
"The IFP will never forget Faith
Gasa. Her dedication to our parliament and her constituents was
always at its highest and was never diminished even during her
long illness," said Dr Lionel Mtshali, leader of the IFP
caucus in the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Parliament, in whose
cabinet Mrs Gasa once served as Minister of Education.
