Inauguration of IFP Durban Metro Region

CAPE TOWN : MARCH 6, 2000

The IFP Durban Metro Regional Conference will take place at the Natal Technikon - Mansfield Hall, Mansfield Road, on the 12th March 2000, from 10:00hrs to 14:00hrs. The main business of conference will be the inauguration of the IFP Durban Metro Region.

Issues that will be discussed by conference will include:

•  Crime in the Durban Metro
•  Job creation
•  Payment of water charges
•  Payment of rates
•  Durban Point Waterfront
•  Proposed Durban airport
•  Housing

IFP leaders and delegates from all six Durban Metro districts will attend.

Dr. B.S. Ngubane, Deputy-National Chairperson of the IFP, will deliver the main address.
