Investigate NedBank Fire Says IFP

The IFP urges Nedbank to press for a full investigation into the cause of the fire that broke out yesterday morning at its building on Beyers Naude Avenue. If the cause is determined to be arson, the arsonist must be found and pertinent questions will need to be asked. "It is unfortunate that this incident occurred just after Mr Julius Malema's irresponsible instruction to the youth to teach Nedbank a lesson," said Velaphi Ndlovu, IFP Spokesperson on Police. "It would be comforting to us all if the Police could rule out any connection between these events," he added. "We are not making any accusations," Ndlovu insisted. "We would just like to see everyone cleared in light of these ill-judged utterances by Mr Malema." |
