The IFP Youth Brigade National Chairperson, Thulasizwe Buthelezi, today launched a scathing attack on KZN MEC for Housing, Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Mike Mabuyakhulu, for plummeting Abaqulusi into the pits of hell.

"Thirty days have passed since MEC Mabuyakhulu dissolved the IFP-led Abaqulusi Municipality and imposed an ANC-led regime on the people of Abaqulusi. The people of Abaqulusi whose democratically elected Council was dissolved, deserve to know what the new administration has done to improve the lives of the people," Thulasizwe Buthelezi said.

Thulasizwe continued, "Ever since the new ANC administration took over, the area of Abaqulusi has been characterised by non-service delivery, chaos and confusion. The clumsy manner in which MEC Mabuyakhulu has handled this matter is indicative of how the ANC in KwaZulu-Natal is fumbling in general and chaotic in particular."

"The people of Abaqulusi are hungry. The people of Abaqulusi have now become the greatest losers in this melodramatic Mabuyakhulu-mania malaise," Thulasizwe continued.
