The IFP Youth Brigade Publicity Secretary, Ms. Linda
Hlongwa, today wished all matriculants well.
Ms Hlongwa said:
"The IFP recognises that education is the
fundamental building block for a stable and prosperous society. At this
time of year, when matriculants are faced with the final challenge of
entering into a new chapter of their lives as responsible citizens of
South Africa, the IFP sends a strong message of support and says to all
matriculants: "Go out there and make your mark."
Linda Hlongwa added:
"We in the IFP support all matriculants
throughout South Africa. We feel confident that all the work that they
have invested throughout the years will assist them in this testing
phase of their education. The IFP Youth Brigade acknowledges, however,
that the economic climate will not guarantee all matriculants will find
jobs or be accepted into institutions of higher learning but challenges
everyone to actively seek creative options in order to realise their
full potential. "
"We encourage all the Youth of South Africa
to stay clean by abstaining from irresponsible sexual behaviour as well
drug and substance abuse and by allowing themselves to be drawn into
criminal activity."
She concluded by saying:
"We wish you all the best. Go out there and
make your mark."
