The IFP Youth Brigade has called upon the people of Abaqulusi Municipal Council to reject any new administration imposed upon them by MEC for Local Government, Housing and Traditional Affairs in KwaZulu-Natal, Mr Mike Mabuyakhulu.

"Mabuyakhulu is not God. We will not allow democracy to be crushed by the insatiable appetite for power of the ANC. The people of Abaqulusi have not burnt tyres on the street as we have seen in other ANC-led municipalities throughout the country. We therefore call upon Mabuyakhulu not to treat the people of Abaqulusi as a political yo-yo for his amusement," said Thulasizwe Buthelezi.

"We therefore state for the record, that the IFP Youth Brigade will make the Abaqulusi Municipality ungovernable. We will stop the ANC in its tracks," Thulasizwe Buthelezi concluded.
