There were a number of compelling reasons why voters should choose the IFP and reject the ANC, Sybil Seaton, IFP Deputy Chief Whip, said today in parliament.

Seaton drew attention to the corruption, broken promises and non-delivery which characterizes ANC led municipalities. She attacked the ANC for 'using its power to threaten opposition-run councils'.

"The ANC is bent on destroying the last remnant of sanity" Seaton said as she made reference to KZN being the only multi-party governance. She criticized the executive mayoral system, which is followed by all other provinces, as being fatal to democracy.

Seaton confirmed in closing that she will be voting IFP and urged voters to do the same.
