DEATH OF KING HUSSEIN OF JORDAN

The Inkatha Freedom Party offers its condolences to the family of the late King Hussein of Jordan and to his people, following his sad death on Sunday.

Commenting on the King’s death, IFP Foreign Affairs Portfolio Committee Member, Mrs Inka Mars MP said:

"King Hussein carried the respect of people the world over for his unstinting efforts to bring peace to the troubled region of the Middle East. His death is a great loss to all those who strive for peace and reconciliation in the world."

"We feel deeply for His late Majesty’s family and his people at this time and we offer our prayers and support to King Abdullah as he takes on the onerous tasks of leadership."
