The unveiling of tombstone of the late Inkosi Hlengwa

The unveiling of the memorial tombstone of the late Inkosi MW Hlengwa will take place on Saturday, 17th March 2007. The Church service will start at 09h00 at the residence of the late Inkosi, which is Esivaneni at Mfume, on the South Coast in KwaZulu-Natal.

The Church service will be followed by a cleansing ceremony.

Inkosi Hlengwa served in National Parliament from 1994 until 2004. In 2004 he was appointed Deputy Speaker of the KZN legislature. He was also a member of the KwaZulu-Natal House of Traditional Leaders.

Inkosi Hlengwa will always be remembered for his active engagement in the community and for heading the HIV Unit in the House of Traditional leaders in conjunction with the Department of Health.
