The IFP condemns the act of vandalism
against its constituency office in central Pietermaritzburg
(located on the corner of Boshoff and Longmarket Streets) by ANC
protesters who took part in today's march in support of ANC
President Jacob Zuma.
According to witnesses, the attackers,
who arrived and left in a kombi with a Free State number plate,
damaged the IFP signage and lights outside the office.
"We condemn this act of vandalism in the
strongest terms. We will be laying charges of malicious damage
to property against the ANC in due course," said IFP Secretary
General Reverend Musa Zondi.
