Inkatha Freedom Party today slammed the KwaZulu-Natal government's failure to have the houses of the Molweni storm victims rebuilt as yet another proof of ANC failed promises. Reacting to reports that houses are yet to be rebuilt despite the December 15 undertakings made by Premier Sbu Ndebele to the people of Molweni, IFP Member of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature, Joshua Mazibuko said: 

"Once again the ANC government has been proved to be nothing but self-praising false messiahs who promise deliverance that never comes.  Lest we forget, it was with the typical ANC fanfare that its leaders such as MEC Meshack Radebe and Premier Sbu Ndebele blew their own trumpets and made promises to have the houses rebuilt by the 15th December.

"Once again they have failed the people of Molweni, just like multitudes more in the whole country who still await the fulfilment of promises made by the same ANC government. Molweni stands as yet another reason why the people of KwaZulu-Natal must ditch the flamboyant ANC government and vote for a new era spearheaded by the IFP."
