The Inkatha Freedom Party today
announced that it will launch its 2009 election manifesto at the
SAFA-Simba Stadium in Pimville, Soweto on Sunday the 25th of
January, 2009.
"The IFP vision of a moral society,
underpinned by the values of ubuntu, is at odds with much that
is prevalent in South Africa today. We have taken stock of
unfolding political events in our country and we have listened
very carefully to the cares and concerns of South Africans. The
IFP, in our determination to change South Africa for the better,
will chart the way forward by launching our 2009 election
manifesto with clear proposals to deal with the key issues
facing our nation," said Rev Musa Zondi, the IFP' Secretary
General.
The event will commence at 11h00,
where-after the IFP President, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, will
unveil the Party's 2009 election campaign strategy.
