The IFP deplores and condemns violence in every form, especially political violence, and most of all violence in the run-up to the 2006 local government elections.

“The IFP learned with sadness of the death of ANC Councillor Masondo in Ward 16 Nongoma,” said IFP KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Secretary, Sibusiso Ngidi MPP, “we condemn this killing and we ask the police to do all in its power to apprehend the perpetrators of this heinous crime”.

The IFP sends its condolences to the grieving family of Councillor Masondo. “May his soul rest in peace,” said Ngidi.
