The Safety and Security Spokesperson of the IFP, Mr V.B Ndlovu MPL, has said that the IFP respects that the rule-of-law has followed its course in the Durban High Court in sentencing Mr Gcinokwakhe Lindinkosi and Mr Zazi Victor Khumalo for the murder of Prince Cyril Bonginkosi Zulu.

Mr Ndlovu said that he hoped the families of the sentenced would understand their sons were caught up in the aftermath of the tragic internecine violence that had bedevilled the province for so long. Mr Ndlovu said that the ANC - or anyone else - should not derive any satisfaction from the verdict as Prince Zulu himself had been implicated on a murder charge.
