The Chairperson of the IFP Women's
Brigade, Mrs Lynette Zwane, today expressed condolences to Mrs
Faith Gasa, IFP KwaZulu-Natal MPL on the death of her husband Dr
Enoch Gasa, 61, who died yesterday afternoon.
Mrs Zwane said:
"I, together with all women of the
IFP, were moved to deep sadness when we heard this news. God
bless and protect you and your family in this time of shock,
mourning and sadness, my dear sister. We all knew of your deep
devotion to your husband and we know that you will miss him. He
was a great man. A man who encouraged you to develop to your
full potential as women and as a leader, setting you free in
turn to help young women develop to their full potential under
your leadership and guidance. He will always be remembered and
honoured.
Know that we, your family and friends, are
right beside you in this time. We share in your loss and we will
carry this awful burden together with you. I know that you will
draw comfort from the knowledge that your dear husband is at
peace in his final resting place. God bless you, your children
and the rest of your family. God comfort you and give you peace
my dear sister." Details for the memorial and service,
which will take place on Thursday in Empangeni and the funeral
service, which will most probably be held on Saturday, will be
released soon.
