IFP Congratulates New ANC President

The IFP wishes to congratulate Mr Jacob Zuma on his election as President of the ANC during his party's elective conference in Polokwane.

"It is a great privilege and responsibility to lead the organisation once led by the likes of Inkosi Albert Luthuli and Nelson Mandela," said IFP President Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.

The IFP knows too well that the tasks ahead of Mr Zuma are enormous and wishes him well.

The IFP also congratulates all individuals who have been elected to top leadership positions within the ANC and the party's National Executive Committee.
