It was with regret and sorrow that the IFP learned that the Chairperson of the National Council of Provinces, Mrs Joyce Kgoali has passed away.

Describing Mrs Kgoali has "the best kind of parliamentarian", IFP Chief Whip, Mr JH Van der Merwe said that he held a deep regard fro the work of Mrs Kgoali in parliament over a long period and that she had fulfilled her duties with diligence and competence.
