Lawyers acting for the President of the Inkatha Freedom Party, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, have written to attorneys for the Premier of KwaZulu Natal, responding to the Premier's reaction to legitimate concerns about potential election irregularities.

These concerns were expressed to former President Obasanjo in his capacity as part of the observer mission for the 2009 national and provincial elections.
