The IFP's National Organiser, Mr Albert Mncwango, MP, today expressed grave concern that the IFP has not been invited to a meeting called by Mr Rob Haswell, the newly appointed Abaqulusi Administrator, today.

Mr Mncwango said: "It is deeply concerning to the IFP that on his very first meeting as Administrator Mr Haswell has adopted this attitude. All other minor political parties and stakeholders have been invited except the IFP, in spite of the fact that the IFP holds the majority in the Abaqulusi Municipality. This is not only undemocratic but also quite bizarre considering that Abaqulusi is an IFP stronghold."

"This blatant act by the Administrator simply serves to confirm perceptions on the ground that Mr Haswell has been deployed to Aqaqulusi with an ANC agenda. It is indeed very kind of behaviour that enrages the people of Abaqulusi. " concluded Mr Mncwango.
