The IFP KwaZulu-Natal Spokesperson, Mr Blessed Gwala, has called for the ANC to withdraw their prospective candidate, Mr T.V Mthemba, in tomorrow's by-election in Eshowe because his candidature is fraudulent.

Mr Gwala said that it has been confirmed that Mr Mthemba does not live in the ward (4 Ngudwini) or even in the Umlalazi Municipality (KZN284). Mr Mthemba's address is listed in Mandeni, which lies outside of the municipality. It is also concerning to note that Mr Mthemba was a presiding officer of the IEC in the same ward in the 2000 Municipal elections.
