The IFP IS ALIVE AND GROWING
The Deputy-National Chairperson of the IFP
Mr Velaphi Ndlovu today announced that there will be a press
conference on Monday, 3rd October 2005 starting at 12h00 at the
IFP's Head Office (2 Durban Club Place on the 1st Floor) to
welcome some of the new members who have joined the IFP.
Members of the National Executive of the
IFP, including the President, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, will
be present to personally welcome them.
Immediately after the press conference
members of the media are invited to partake in a light lunch
with the new members as well as members of the IFP' s National
Executive.
Mr Ndlovu said:
"Contrary to reports that the IFP is
slowly dying the IFP is excited to report that it is indeed
alive and growing. This can be easily demonstrated by all the
new members we are attracting. In the last few months the IFP
has signed up many new members and has inaugurated a substantial
amount of branches. The trend is definitely on the upward, which
we are extremely excited about and bodes well for the local
government elections."
