IFP Statement In Parliament: Crime

Members Statement

National Assembly Cape Town: 13 September 2007

Madam Speaker:

The IFP notes with shock and horror the brutal killing of women aged between 18 -36 in KwaZulu Natal. Three bodies were discovered last week and the fourth body was discovered on Wednesday, all four badly decomposed. The worst was that one of the bodies was missing its head, which was later recovered from a dog wandering through Shayamoya with the head in its mouth.

The IFP recommends that thorough investigations should be done, and if this is the work of a serial killer, he should be removed from society immediately and be given a sentence befitting his act.

I thank you.
