The Inkatha Freedom Party President, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, will depart for Mumbai on Sunday, 6th July 2008, for a week-long visit to India.

The Prince has been invited by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) under the Council's "Distinguished Visitors" Programme 2008-2009.

Prince Buthelezi, will visit Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore and is scheduled to hold meetings with ICCR President Dr Karan Singh and the Governor of Karnataka, among others.

On Saturday, 12 July 2008, Prince Buthelezi will address businessman and distinguished guests on the topic: "Democracy in South Africa."

The IFP President will return to South Africa on Monday, 14 July 2008.
