The IFP
Women's Brigade will celebrate Women's Day on Saturday 9 August
2008 in Clermont on the premises of the local Mcopheleli
School. The function is scheduled to start at 10h00.
"The IFPWB
will commemorate the 1956 Women's March and, more importantly,
give the wider public a platform to contemplate how far South
African women have come since the struggle days in terms of
their rights, opportunities and aspirations," said IFPWB
chairperson and party leader in the eThekwini Council,
Councillor Thembi Nzuza, who will also address the function.
