IFP Youth Brigade (IFPYB) Chairperson , Mrs Pat Lebenya-Ntanzi
MP, today said that the IFP's victory in 8 out of 9 by-elections
held throughout KwaZulu-Natal on Wednesday shows that the IFP is
ready to govern KZN again in 2009.
Mrs
Lebenya-Ntanzi commented: "The IFPYB would like to congratulate
the newly elected KZN provincial leadership for achieving these
well-deserved victories.
"Furthermore, the IFPYB would also like to congratulate the
newly elected IFP councillors in UKhahlamba (Bergville),
Newcastle, Msundusi (Pietermaritzburg), Mtonjaneni and Pongola.
We know their success came through hard work and dedication and
we are very proud of their achievements.
"The IFPYB
believes that this victory sends out a clear message that the
citizens of KwaZulu Natal are going to vote IFP in the
forthcoming election.
As a party
we are ready to govern again in 2009 and we are ready to serve
the citizens of KZN, guided by our key principles of solidarity,
freedom and unity in diversity," concluded Mrs Lebenya-Ntanzi.
