The IFP
National MP, Mr Narend Singh, announced today that in a show of
solidarity the IFP President, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi will
be visiting flood victims on KwaZulu-Natal's South Coast. The
visit is scheduled to begin at 13h30 and will constitute the
following 7 stops:
1.
Magabeni at 13h30, where Prince Buthelezi will meet the families
of the 4 young people who died last week. A donation will
also be handed over to the families.
2. Ifafa
Ckub Marina, to visit the site of the 75 homes which were
destroyed and in which two elderly persons were killed.
3.
Malangeni at 15h30, to meet affected families there and hand
over food parcels.
4.
Sanathan Informal Settlment (Umzinto) at 16h00, to hand over
care packages.
5. Drive
through Riverside Park (Umzinto) where homes were destroyed and
one person was buried in mud.
6. Gandhi
Nagar to meet more flood victims.
7. And
end in Braemar at 17h00 with the handing over of more food
parcels.
