Debate on KwaZulu Natal Zulu Royal House Trust Bill, 2017

BY
HON MB GWALA, MPL

The IFP will supports any Bills and initiatives with good intentions of protecting the institution of Traditional leadership including the Royal Family.

The IFP notes that the objective of the bill is to determine the manner in which the Royal Household Trust is to be managed, governed, staffed and financed. Also, the overall aim is to ensure that governance and management of the Royal Household Trust is improved for the well-being of His Majesty the King.

This Bill must ensure that it safeguard the image of His Majesty the King at all times and ensure that the Royal Household Trust fulfil its mandate in such a manner that it doesn’t put the Royal Family into disrepute.

I thank you
