False Statement Attributed to IFP Re Handing-over Ceremony

I have taken note of a statement circulating, purportedly released by the IFP Caucus in KZN, ahead of the handing-over certificate ceremony at the Moses Mabidha Stadium on Saturday.

I want to make it clear that this is not a statement that has been issued by the Party, nor does it carry the IFP in KZN’s mandate or views ahead of the ceremony.

We would like to distance ourselves from the unauthorised statement, and we will investigate and take the necessary steps once we establish how this statement was placed on social media, purportedly on our behalf.
