IFP: Condolences to Mjikijelwa Ngubane’s Family and Fans

The IFP has expressed heartfelt condolences to the family, fans and the whole traditional music industry following the passing of the award winning Maskandi artist Sbongiseni ‘Mjikijelwa’ Ngubane who passed away after a long illness.

“The South African music industry mourns the loss of yet another young talent. It’s a moment of great sorrow to the family and the Maskandi music genre. His music was loved by our people”, said Mr Joshua Mazibuko, IFP Deputy National Spokesperson.

“It’s sad for us to lose young talented people like this but there’s nothing that we can do. For the family and his band members, we say; hold on to God. Maskanda music will never be the same without his talent,” concluded Mr Mazibuko.
