IFP to Conduct Community Oversight Visit in Umlazi

On Thursday, 13 September 2018 the IFP in eThekwini District will conduct a community oversight visit about undelivered services to the community in Umlazi Q Section – Wards 87 and 85 at the Sofaya informal settlement. The Oversight will be led by the IFP District Chairperson and Councillor Dr E Mngadi together with his committee.

We will be listening to community grievances and witness first-hand the issues that they are facing on a daily basis. More specifically we will be conducting oversight on the following:

  • Delayed community service delivery;
  • Unavailability of Ward Councilors after being elected; and
  • Unfinished road projects which affect commuters and school learners.
