IFP Congratulates Springbok Captain, Siya Kolisi

By KP Sithole MP
IFP Spokesperson on Sport and Recreation

The IFP congratulates, Mr Siya Kolisa on his appointment as Captain of the Springboks.

We are pleased that for the first time in 127 years, Rugby has its first black player to lead the Springboks as Captain.

This is an opportunity for the transformation of rugby in our country to lead the debate by example and act as a model for better inclusivity and reflect black talent and excellence in Sport.

Transformation must be fast tracked and we expect that mechanisms will be put in place to address the challenges of redress in Rugby.

We wish Mr Kolisi and his team great success in making our country proud.
