IFP Mourns The Death Of ANC’s Senzo Mkhize

The IFP has joined other South Africans who have mourned the death of ANC Member and Chief Whip of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature, Senzo Mkhize who passed away on Friday after a long illness. IFP Deputy National Spokesperson and IFP Whip in the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature Joshua Mazibuko issued a statement on behalf of the party in which he said:

“The IFP was shocked to learn of the departure of Mr. Senzo Mkhize who was an ANC leader and Chief Whip in the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature. While we knew that Mkhize was not well, we never thought that his illness would end in such a tragic way. The KZN Legislature has lost a cool-minded leader who always strove for cooperation among political parties in the Legislature.

“Our hearts go out to the Mkhize family, the African National Congress and all his colleagues in the Legislature. We will sadly miss him. May God comfort all whose eyes are weeping at this time.”
