IFP offers condolences on passing of Hon. Ricardo Mthembu

On behalf of the IFP in the Legislature of KZN, we have received the news of the passing of Hon. Ricardo Mthembu with shock and sadness.

We extend our condolences during this time of bereavement to the Mthembu family and the African National Congress.

Hon. Ricardo Mthembu was one of the Members of the Legislature who always made progressive contributions. Hon. Mthembu will be remembered for his sociable and friendly personality. His colourful character and political contributions in the province will be sorely missed.

He will indeed leave a huge void in the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature, where he was delegated as a Member by his organisation.

May his soul rest in peace.

You never know where and when you could contract Covid-19. Indeed, Covid-19 is an invisible and dangerous enemy, and it seldom gives the infected time for a long struggle and an opportunity to fight back and win the battle. Let us all be vigilant and extra careful against this invisible enemy of all humankind.

Rest in peace Hon. Ricardo Mthembu. May your family and the ANC find comfort in that you played a meaningful role in shaping our country.
