IFP Receives Warm Reception In Clermont

IFP Leaders have had a warm reception in Clermont where they are campaining t0oday. IFP MPL Joshua Mazibuko and EThekwini EXCO Member Mdu Nkosi are leading IFP leaders and volunteers in a convoy which started at Clermont Rank this morning.

Hardly two minutes after their arrival, IFP Leaders were crowded by the young and old asking for party Tshirts and Manifestos. IFP’s Joshua Mazibuko expressed his delight at the manner they were received. “This reception humbles us, especially if one considers that Clermont is known as the ANC stronghold. Clearly our people have seen the light. After 22 years of ANC government they are now in a position to compare ANC and IFP; and they see that things were better under the IFP government. Surely we will do better in this election,” said Mazibuko.

The IFP campaign in eThekwini is going on tomorrow as well and everyday until August 3.
