IFP SENDS CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF GOSPEL SENSATION NEYI ZIMU

Mkhuleko Hlengwa MP
IFP National Spokesperson

It is with great grief and shock that we receive the news that renowned Pastor and gospel musician, Neyi Zimu has met his demise following a long illness.

The IFP extends its deepest condolences to all those who knew and adored Zimu – a spiritual giant who undeniably touched and healed many through his music and teachings. His loss is definitely not felt in the Vaal where he was born and bred but in the lengths and breadths of our country.

To his immediate family, his dear friends and fellow colleagues in the gospel music industry where he left a huge mark, we wish you the much-needed comfort and strength during this sad time.

There are no words to describe the pain we feel knowing that we will never be in the presence of this celebrated worshipper. Nevertheless, we are comforted to know that he fought a good fight, ran and finished his race and kept his faith till the end.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, the IFP and all South Africans salute him.
