IFP Shocked By The Careless Shooting Of Msinga Municipal Manager

The IFP is shocked by the shooting of yet another municipal manager, Mr Fanozi Bethuel Sithole of Msinga Local Municipality.

“This heinous crime once again brings to focus the extent to which these hired guns will go in order to accomplish their mission. From the information in our possession Mr Sithole was held at gunpoint in full view in front of his family, including his children and his attackers told him that they were sent to kill him,” said IFP National Chairperson, Mr Blessed Gwala.

“Msinga Municipality which is under IFP administration is one of the best run municipalities in KZN and we are grateful to Mr Sithole who as the municipal manager ensure that service delivery to our people was of the very high standard. We want to assure the people of Msinga that service delivery will not be affected in anyway while Mr Sithole is in hospital,” continued Mr Gwala.

“We want to wish him a full and speed recovery and we call on the SAPS to ensure that these attackers are arrested and brought before the court. Our prayers are also with the family of Mr Sithole who have traumatised by this terrible incident,” concluded Mr Gwala.
