IFP statement of condolences on the passing of MPL Lebo More

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) in Gauteng is deeply saddened by the untimely passing of the Democratic Alliance’s (DA) member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature the Honourable Lebo More.

Hon. More joined the Provincial Legislature in 2013. During his tenure, he served as a member of the Petitions Committee and as the DA shadow MEC for Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation (and also served in the same portfolio committee). Prior to joining the Legislature, Hon. More served in the Local Government sphere as a Councillor in Mogale City.

The IFP extends its deepest condolences to Hon. More’s family, friends and all those who worked closely with him. His loss is felt not only by members of his family and his political organisation, but the rest of the citizens of Gauteng.

His unquestionable rigour, passion and charismatic energy in his political work will surely be missed. May his soul rest in perfect peace and his contribution to society outlive him.
