IFP Throws Its Weight Behind The Office Of The Public Protector

The Inkatha Freedom Party extends its thanks and best wishes to outgoing Public Protector, Adv. Thuli Madonsela and welcomes her incoming successor, Adv. Busisiwe Mkhwebane.

Adv. Madonsela served the office of the Public Protector and South Africa with consummate distinction and we wish her well in her future endeavours. She fulfilled the mandate of her office with great competence and dedication and ensured the accessibility of the Office to all South African’s. She fearlessly went forth where angels fear to tread; South Africa owes her a great debt of gratitude.

As she passes the baton now to Adv. Mkhwebane, we hope that the high standards of investigation, integrity and accountability are maintained regardless of the political standing or ‘connectedness’ of those being investigated. We look forward to Adv. Mkhwebane having a successful term in office as she continues the sterling work of her predecessor.
