IFP To Celebrate 40th Anniversary Over Two Days Event

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) has called on all people to come and join in the celebrations as the party marks its 40th anniversary with a rally scheduled to be addressed by the IFP President, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, on Sunday, the 1st November 2015, at Elkah Sports Ground, Rockville, Soweto.

IFP Gauteng Caucus Leader, Bonginkosi Dhlamini said: “We are excited and proud that Gauteng has been selected as a host for the momentous commemoration of the resounding achievements of the IFP over four decades of hardwork and self-sacrificing leadership.”

“There are many remarkable feats that can be attributed to the IFP, but it is methodical to say that they are all enclosed in the expression that, throughout its existence, the IFP has utterly remained instrumental in the architecture of a society that is guided and informed by three key values. These are solidarity, freedom and unity in diversity. These values mirrors who we are as a political party. They equally reflect our aspiration for every individual in this country,” said Dhlamini.

In the build-up to this event, IFP leaders across Gauteng will visit communities in and around Soweto to pay them tribute for their unwavering and unreserved support for the party.
