IFP Welcomes By-election Results in Umfolozi and Umvoti

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) notes and welcomes the by-election results in Umfolozi and Umvoti. These overwhelming victories for the IFP confirm that communities have placed their trust in the IFP’s ability to govern.

The leadership in these IFP-governed municipalities must continue to prioritise service delivery, to ensure that the people’s trust in the IFP is not misplaced. Further, as we continue to serve the people, our focus will remain on realising the commitments made in the IFP’s 10-point plan Manifesto.

We would like to offer our congratulations and thanks to local IFP leadership, members, and volunteers for these excellent results.

In recent months, the IFP has been most encouraged by results in by-elections across the province, which have indicated continuous growth for the Party.
