IFP Welcomes Progress in AmaJuba District Municipality Speaker Murder Case

The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) was devastated to learn of the murder of Member of the IFP National Council and Speaker of the AmaJuba District Municipality, Cllr Reginald Bhekumndeni Ndima, who was shot and killed by assailants in late January 2022.

We therefore welcome the news that two suspects charged with Cllr Ndima’s murder appeared in the Newcastle Magistrates’ Court last week. As the IFP, we trust that the wheels of justice will turn swiftly, and that if found guilty, the suspects will face the full weight of the law.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with Cllr Ndima’s family, friends, and colleagues in this challenging time.
