Media Alert: IFPWB to Attend Sentencing of Murder Accused

Tomorrow, the Inkatha Freedom Party Women’s Brigade (IFPWB) Executive, led by Chairperson, Princess Phumzile Buthelezi, will attend the sentencing proceedings of former Durban Metro Police Officer, Ndumiso Khumalo. He was found guilty of killing his girlfriend, Zinhle Muthwa, by the Durban High Court. Muthwa’s partially decomposed body was found on New Year’s Day last year, in the Ndaya area in Mfume.

The IFPWB’s leadership and members – from across the province – have been attending this court case since January 2020, in support of the deceased’s family. A final sentence is expected to be handed down in the same court tomorrow, Thursday, 23 September 2021.

Time: 10h00
Venue: Durban High Court
Date: Thursday, 23 September 2021
