Media Engagements of Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi MP Traditional Prime Minister to the Zulu Monarch and Nation

We have received countless requests for Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi MP – Traditional Prime Minister to the Zulu Monarch and Nation – to participate in a variety of media interviews as it pertains to Zulu Royal Family matters.

While we appreciate the support given to the Zulu Royal Family during this difficult time for the nation by the media, we would like to point out that Prince Buthelezi MP issued an extensive statement yesterday morning to clarify a whole host of issues currently in the public domain.

At this moment, Prince Buthelezi MP is seized with his responsibilities as the Traditional Prime Minister to the Zulu Monarch and Nation, as the Royal Family receives guests at the KwaKhangelamankengane Royal Palace and as they ultimately prepare to receive the mortal remains of the late Queen Shiyiwe Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu.

Prince Buthelezi’s only focus now is to give Her Majesty the Queen, the Regent of the Zulu Nation, a dignified send-off.

We hope that our request for time and space for these processes to unfold, will be respected.

We will however keep the media abreast of any important developments if and when required.
