NFP Fakes Numbers While it Marches to its Grave

The IFP has accused the NFP of being desperate in trying to save its sinking ship by faking numbers, in claims that it has welcomed 400 new members who have defected from the IFP in Vryheid recently.

“The NFP is trying to score points by publishing lies. The so called NFP leader, Sphamandla Ntombela who claimed that he welcomed new members from the IFP, has his vision clouded by something he smoked. He only welcomed two misled people from the IFP and the ANC at Mhlongo Farm, not 400 as he claimed in the media.

People attended that NFP event because they were promised that they will receive soccer kits from the Zululand District Municipality. The NFP continues to abuse state resources to save its dwindling support,” said IFP’s Zululand Organiser, Nonkululeko Ndlela.

“One wonders who will still continue joining the NFP since many of its senior leaders, like its Treasurer General has just resigned after she noticed that there is no future in the NFP and it is a dying horse. NFP leaders must stop claiming that their support is growing while the party is marching to its grave,” continued Ndlela.

“The IFP is encouraged that more NFP members are realising their earlier mistake of joining a party with no future and are coming back to their IFP home. The President of the IFP, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi welcomed more than a thousand members from the NFP in Vryheid recently where they were publicly identified and their names announced, so why can’t the NFP do the same,” concluded Ndlela.

The IFP demands that Sphamandla Ntombela must provide evidence that he welcomed 400 new members from the IFP to prove us wrong, as we emphatically deny this.
