The Inkatha Freedom Party has reiterated that its Private Members Bill is not xenophobic but it seeks to prioritize the Employment of South African citizens and regulate the employment of foreign nationals.
The IFP believes this will be a solution to the unemployment crisis in the country which rose to 35.3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The party's youth Brigade led the second launch of the bill in Gauteng.
Party leader, Velenkosini Hlabisa criticized government for its inability to gain control over the country's immigration crisis.

Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) leader Velenkosini Hlabisa is expected to launch the IFP's Private Member Bill, Employment Services in Gauteng.
This follows a similar launch in Kwazulu Natal on Workers' Day.

The IFP says the aim of the Private Member's Bill is to provide what the party calls "a real solution to youth unemployment".

Tomorrow, the Inkatha Freedom Party Youth Brigade will lead the launch of the IFP's Private Members Bill, the Employment Services Amendment Bill, in Gauteng. This follows the KZN launch on Workers' Day.

IFP President, Hon. Velenkosini Hlabisa, is expected to deliver the keynote speech. To tell us more about this we are joined by Mlungisi Mabaso, He is the IFP Youth Brigade secretary.

Almost 47 years ago on the 21st March 1975, a gathering of patriotic South Africans, under the leadership of Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi, gathered at KwaNzimela in KwaZulu-Natal and established the Inkatha yeNkululeko yeSizwe, the national cultural liberation movement. This organization was founded upon the principles of the 1912 liberation movement, and quickly became home to more than a million Inkatha card-carrying members.

This organization was founded upon the principles of the 1912 liberation movement, and quickly became home to more than a million Inkatha card-carrying members.

The following year saw the establishment of both the Inkatha Women’s and Youth Brigade’s.

In 1979 Prince Buthelezi together with an Inkatha delegation was invited by Mr Oliver Tambo to London to meet with a delegation of the ANC’s mission which was then in exile from South Africa.

On the 2nd February 1990 the then President of the Republic of South Africa, President FW de Klerk in his decision to order the release of Nelson Mandela, attributed the persuasion of Prince Buthelezi in this matter as one of the major reasons which informed this decision.

The Inkatha Freedom Party was subsequently established and ably participated in the development of the new democratic South Africa and contributed invaluably to the development of not only the Constitution but also the Rule of Law in South Africa.

Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi has been its leader and champion since 1975 and today at the age of 93 still continues this selfless service to the nation and to all South Africans.
